IUETO: Urgent Call to Arab Nations on Xi’s Visit to KSA

Arab- China summit in Riyad, Saudi Arabia is taking place this week, and at least 14 Arab counties heads to meet China’s Xi Jinping who is embroiled in the massive account of atrocities and crimes against humanity with the unprecedented level of genocide policies on Uyghur and other Turkic Muslims of East Turkistan since his tyrannical regime in 2014. Xi is meeting with Arab leaders to bolster ties by whitewashing a widespread attack on Islam in its territory and occupied East Turkistan.

International communities, countries, and institutions around the world have been addressing the East Turkistan cause in recent years and made protection approaches to the tragic circumstances of the Uyghur and other ethnic groups since China is accused of genocide and crimes against humanity for the unprecedented level in East Turkistan. The growing international criticism of China’s Genocide provided substantial grounds to believe the Uyghur Genocide is in fact a global concern, a historical humanitarian concern, and a baseline to understand the real nature of China’s wild ambition to become a global tyranny.

Chinese Foreign Ministry published a report on Arab -China relations without providing any account of the condition of the Muslim population of East Turkistan and its own Muslim population around China. The report negates the historical approaches of the Muslim nations to protect the honor of Islam yet misleadingly calls the Arab nations for steady cooperation to achieve Chinese dreams through its hidden agenda of BRI projects which aimed to diminish the integrity of the Arab nations.

East Turkistan has a historical tie with Arab Countries, especially Turkistani migrants who contributed to the construction and development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since its establishment. Still, more than ten thousand Turkistani families are playing unignorable roles in different fields of the country. On other hand, Arab Countries including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have only a short period of diplomatic relations with China, namely the KSA established formal diplomatic ties with China in 1985. Nevertheless, such unproven ties shall not undermine the core values of Arab Countries that have been negatively impacted by China’s political, and economic infiltration policies in the Middle East and respective Arab nations.

As a leading representative Organization for the interest of the Muslim population of East Turkistan, a place of 30 million Sunni Muslims with Islamic history in the East for at least a millennium, IUETO strongly condemns China’s deception of foreign policies with Arab nations. When reshaping the bilateral relationship with China, Arab countries, especially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which is the custodian of the Two Holly Cities must not neglect the rights of Muslims of East Turkistan.

As this showcase of the Arab-China summit is taking place this week, we highlight the grave concern of a genocide claim that is happening to our Muslim nation in the Chinese-occupied East Turkistan which Arab nations referred to as the Turkistan Region. There are hundreds of Concentration Camps built by China in East Turkistan designed to carry out de-Islamization programs, torture, horrific assaults, sexual attacks, sterilization of women, harvesting of Muslim organs, forced labor, and other proven crimes against humanity. During the COVID pandemic, China accelerated the pace of barbaric measures to kill Muslims in mass, deprive all religious rights by destroying mosques, burning holy books, and apostatizing Muslim generations by force in East Turkistan.

IUETO calls all Arab nations including the host of this Summit KSA to stand with Justice to address the globally recognized Uyghur Genocide issue with China to make China accountable for the destruction of one largely Muslims populated resourceful country- East Turkistan.

IUETO friendly warns the Arab nations, and Muslims around the world about the dreadful, poisonous Islamophobic approaches made by China against the Muslims of East Turkistan. We remind the entire Muslim population around the world that East Turkistani Muslims are being burned alive yet there has been dead silence in the Muslim World.

IUETO calls on the leaders of the Arab nations and policymakers to reflect on the following Hadith of our beloved Prophet to wake up our faithful humanity so that all Muslims and countries should never ignore the ongoing plight of Muslims of East Turkistan.

Abdullah ibn Umar reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “The Muslim is a brother to another Muslim. He does not wrong him, nor surrender him. Whoever fulfills the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs. Whoever relieves a Muslim from distress, Allah will relieve him from distress on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever covers the faults of a Muslim, Allah will cover his faults on the Day of Resurrection.”

IUETO hopes to establish cadet relationships with Muslim nations, the Arab world, and other counties to convey the truth of East Turkistan, to create a platform to protect the Uyghur Muslims, to build bridges to promote the true and undisputed historical connections between East Turkistan and Arab counties. We demand to have our voice to be heard.
