January 2023 - IUETO Activity Report

January 6: IUETO held an extended consultation meeting at the provincial migration administration meeting hall of the governorship of Istanbul. (More than 80 people from Turkey and abroad from all sectors of society, representatives of non-governmental organizations, religious scholars and academics attended the meeting.)

January 15: IUETO held a press conference in objecting China's misleading propaganda in the Islamic world. (IUETO held a joint press conference with more than 30 religious scholars and more than 55 non-governmental organizations from all over the world objecting China's misleading propaganda in the Islamic world between 8-12 January.)

January 25: Chairman of the IUETO Foreign Affairs Committee Nurmuhammad Turkistani and East Turkistan Scholars Union Vice President Mahmudjan Damolla participated in the “Open Speech" program of Istiklal TV channel.

January 31: IUETO Foreign Affairs Committee-South East Asia coordinator Abdulahat Udun gave a speech on ‘the Chinese Persecution in East Turkestan’ in Beykoz District of Istanbul and shared information about the current situation in East Turkestan.
