
Hidayet Oğuzhan
Hidayet Oğuzhan was born in 1968 in Kashgar, East Turkestan, as a child of a merchant family. He went to Pakistan at a young age and completed his primary, secondary and high school education. He completed his undergraduate studies in Islamic Sciences at the International Islamic Institute and his master's degree at Punjab University with his work titled "General Overview of East Turkestan History". He speaks Uyghur, Turkish, English, Arabic, Ordu and Punjabi fluently.
One of the founding members of the East Turkestan Maarif Movement, which was established in 2006, Hidayet Oğuzhan contributed to the common consciousness of more than 20 NGOs operating in different countries of the world through this movement. In 2018, he led the establishment of the International Union of East Turkestan Organizations by bringing together the conservative diaspora organizations he chaired.
Oğuzhan, who is engaged in trade and has been interested in free trade since his student years, is currently operating in the textile sector in Turkey and has devoted his life to the East Turkestan cause.
