IUETO condemns all human
rights violations against Muslims around the world
International Union of
East Turkistan Organizations (IUETO) strongly condemns the latest invasion and brutality
committed by Israel on innocent Palestinians at the al-Aqsa al-Sharif Mosque.
IUETO refers to the report
of an unruly invasion by Israeli forces on 5th April 2023 (Wednesday)
which resulted in serious injuries to 7 people and in addition to hundreds of
others lightly injured while performing their tarawih prayers in the mosque.
400 others were arrested.
They were beaten with
batons and guns to the point of causing injuries and suffocation. The Israeli
force reportedly threw grenades and tear gas inside the mosque.
These actions by Israel
force are against human rights to freely practice their religion in peace,
especially during Ramadan, a sacred month for Muslims around the world. These acts
are purely Islamophobic acts and challenge the sacredness of Islamic
teachings.
Our people inside East
Turkistan also currently experiencing the same cruelties against humanity by the Chinese regime, where Ramadan is prohibited by all means. Praying and fasting
are designated as extremism tendencies by the regime.
In the name of solidarity
and justice, IUETO urges the international community to be alert and to stand
up together with Palestinian people who are under the constant brutality of the regime. At the same time, IUETO urges the international community not to be silent about the human rights and religious rights violations done to our people
in East Turkistan by the Chinese regime.
IEUTO demands that Muslim
world leaders demonstrate their solidarity by exerting political pressure
until these cruelties to Palestinian and East Turkistani and other Muslim
communities under oppression are stopped altogether.
